It's getting warmer here and with that comes plenty of beach days, picnics and bike rides which have one thing in common – less clothing. As always, we’ve been bombarded with the ‘get your body ready for bikini season’ rhetoric since the winter, but here’s the plot twist, your body was born ready.
We want to remind you that you are most certainly ready to enjoy life and any enticing opportunity that comes your way with the body you have right now.
So focus on that. How does the ocean swim feel? How about laughing all afternoon with friends? And the hike to the stunning view? The nap under the summers sun?
Your body is pretty cool, we promise.
SOME TIPS TO FEEL GOOD RIGHT NOW
- Unfollow anyone that makes you feel less than. Do it now! Clean your social media like you would clean your house.
- Notice the things your body can DO.
- Make a list of things you like about yourself that have nothing to do with your physical appearance. If you’re struggling with this ask a friend to remind you.
